LGI has multiple interests in the Petroleum sector through joint venture, teaming agreements and direct ownership.  Our location in the Gulf region along with our transportation assets allows us the flexibility to operate from Brownsville TX to The Florida Keys with seamless operations.  The Technology component of our company has offered significant opportunities with tolling services including gathering, blending and treating crude oil.

Exploration and Production

LGI is well positioned in exploration and production with lease holdings in Mississippi and Louisiana, reworked orphaned wells in Louisiana and Texas as well as gathering contracts in Texas, The Dakotas and Florida.  

Blending

Combined with our Joint Venture Partners LGI has 5 blending facilities with a total of 1,485,000 barrels of storage capacity allowing us to blend up to 200,000 barrels per day.  These facilities have pipeline, barge, rail, and truck access for inbound and out bound product.

Refining

Our refinery group has 3 facilities with a total refining capacity of 75,000 barrels per day.  We are in negotiations to partner with 2 additional facilities which would bring our total refining capacity to 125,000 barrels per day.  This capacity along with our footprint gives LGI refining capacity in Louisiana and Texas.   

Technology

Our technology group is very diverse with new technologies being developed and vetted in the field.  We are focused on the areas of oil and water separation and specialized gathering:

        Oil/Water Separation - Our oil/water reactors are designed to accelerate the separation of water and oil from days to minutes.  The reactors are able to         be used in process and can treat up to 5000 barrels per day per unit.  In addition to oil water separation the reactors are able to reduce sulfur, metals         and bs&w out of the crude improving its value.

        Natural Gas Collection- Our newest technology allows for the collection of natural gas which is typically flared off during drilling.  By utilizing a bypass         valve in the natural gas flare line we are able to pull the natural gas through compressors and in to rack mounted composite tanks.  The composite tanks         are modular and can be easily transported by truck rail or ship.

Additional Services

With collaboration between our specialty branches LGI can provide for any of your future needs. In addition to our basic petroleum services, our construction division will be able to provide you with first class fabrication for small to large scale platforms, fueling docks, and pipeline development/repair.  Asides from meeting all of your shipping solutions, our Marine division has become your first choice for the transportation of compressed materials. With access to the newest products from Lincoln Composites, such as their new Titan composite bulk transportation tanks we can alleviate any of your storage concerns.
